Discover the new blonde from the series Legally Blonde
Lexi Minetree succeeds Reese Witherspoon in a new series: It will be released this summer on Prime Video.
After two cinema films in the early 2000s, then a spin-off TV film and even an adaptation into a Broadway musical, Blonde’s Revenge is getting a new look on Prime Video. A series will remake the story of Elle Woods, a cult role played by Reese Witherspoon.
The American star is also back to produce. And season 1 of She – that’s its title – will be put online in its entirety on July 1 on Prime Video.
It is the young unknown Lexi Minetree, 24 years old, born a few days before the release of the first film at the cinema, who takes up the role. We saw him previously in the mini-series broken.

“Twenty-five years after the world first met Elle Woods, it’s a dream come true to be able to tell the story of how she became the unstoppable force we all fell in love with” said Reese Witherspoon. “Discovering Lexi Minetree and watching her step into Elle’s fabulous heels was one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. I think the themes of our series — kindness, authenticity and self-confidence — will resonate deeply with fans…”
Alongside Lexi Minetree, the cast brings together June Diane Raphael in the role of Elle’s mother, Eva, Tom Everett Scott in that of her father Wyatt, as well as Gabrielle Policano.
According to the official synopsis, the series “follows Elle Woods during her high school years, and traces the life experiences that shaped the woman who would become the iconic young woman that audiences have come to know and love.”
She was created by Laura Kittrell, who also serves as co-showrunner.
Incidentally, we learn that season 2 has already been ordered. Filming will begin in the spring.
Released in 2001, the first film Blonde’s Revenge had enjoyed great success at the box office, grossing more than $140 million worldwide.
