Don’t underestimate The Penguin by Colin Farrell! New teaser for The Batman spin-off series
The Dark Knight’s great adversary sows chaos in Gotham, under the eyes of Cristin Milioti.
Max fixed the broadcast of the series The Penguin from the start of the school year, so while waiting for September, here is a new teaser to keep fans waiting. The key character in the Batman universe, already present in the blockbuster worn by Robert Pattinson in 2022, returns to sow discord in Gotham City in this 8-episode series partly directed by Craig Zobel (The Hunt in 2020). He is always embodied by Colin Farrellunrecognizable under thick layers of makeup, and according to Sofia (Cristin Milioti), the daughter of Carmine Falcone (John Turturro in Matt Reeves’ blockbuster), he should not be underestimated…
“It’s dark, recently teased the Irish actor. Really heavy. Very violent. That’s not to say I didn’t have fun, the filming was awesome. But it’s an incredibly violent series. It talks about the rise in power of a man, who tries to achieve what he has always dreamed of, that is to say power, an important social status. You know, Carmine Falcone’s death at the end of the movie left a void in Gotham, and there are all these people trying to reclaim a piece of his power. Oswald is one of them, we follow him trying to climb, to overcome all these incredible obstacles. It’s really super dark, very twisted.”
Michael Zegen (The Fabulous Mrs. Maisel) is also in the cast, in the role of Carmine’s son, Alberto Falcone, and Clancy Brown (John Wick: Chapter 4) plays Salvatore Maroni, a gangster who once ruled Gotham. In France, Le Penguin will be broadcast on Max at the start of the school year.
