After the Zadists in Problemos, he bites into heroic fantasy fans with this crazy new comedy.

Nine years later ProblemsEric Judor is back to directing with The Puy des Oufs. A comedy in which he also plays the leading role, that of an abandoned father, infiltrated in a life-size role-playing game (or “GN”) to find his daughter, as described Telerama who visited the set a few months ago and revealed the first photo from the film.

We find Eric Judor in Legolas mode alongside Alexandra Lamy and his faithful friend Hafid Benamar. Presented as a cross between The Office And Lord of the Rings, The Puy des Oufs was filmed near Auvers-sur-Oise, in the area of Val Abbey, with scenes involving up to one hundred and fifty extras, including fifty real players who came with their own costumes.

“It’s a bit of street theater that we film “epic”. The first pitfall would have been to be too cheap. We had to make the film sexy so that the spectator would come away wanting to take part in something like that“, explains Judor to Telerama.

The Puy des Oufs will be released in 2026 in cinemas, and Eric Judor hopes that it will not experience the same fate as Problemswhich became cult but shunned by the public when it was released in theaters (less than 200,000 admissions in 2017):

“The movie blew up on Netflix, but people didn’t want to see it in theaters. I think I’m cursed!”
