Time passes for the Crawley family. The English family of Downton Abbey is preparing to get out of his reverence after a third and last film.
Focus Features has just unveiled the very first trailer for Downton Abbey: The Grand Finalefinal part of the saga started in 2010 with the successful series of ITV. Fifteen years later, the story closes in what promises to be an elegant, nostalgic and emotional conclusion …
“The place that we will never forget. The family that we will always keep in mind. Everything led at that time“, already promises production.
We are in 1930. Lady Mary (still embodied by Michelle Dockery) is now part of London high society, while Lord and Lady Grantham (Hugh Bonneville And Elizabeth McGovern) continue to watch over the Downton domain in the county of Yorkshire.
The grand finale is revealed with its official synopsis: “The Crawley family and its servants at the dawn of the 1930s. While the lovely characters seek how to bring Downton Abbey into modernity, they must accept the change and welcome a new chapter.”
