Filming has wrapped on the new Jurassic World Rebirth movie

Director Gareth Edwards will now be able to move on to special effects in post-production.

Two years after the release of Jurassic World: the world afterthe fourth part of the series and seventh opus of the franchise has just completed its filming. Jurassic World Rebirth East “in the box“, as producer Frank Marshall announces.

Via Instagram (see below), he revealed that the film directed by Gareth Edwards (Rogue One) had completed its filming phase. It will now enter its post-production phase, to add all the necessary special effects.

The cast will be led by Jonathan Bailey (The Bridgerton Chronicles), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), And Mahershala Ali (Moonlight).

In the scenario, we find David Koeppresent as from the first hour for Jurassic Park in 1993.

Released in cinemas on July 2, 2025 in France.

What a story for Jurassic World Rebirth ?

The synopsis tells us that the adventure will resume 5 years after the events of Jurassic World Dominion. “The planet’s ecosystem proved largely inhospitable to dinosaurs. Those remaining live in isolated equatorial environments where the climate resembles that in which they once flourished. The three most colossal creatures living in this tropical biosphere hold the key to creating a miraculous medicine that could save humanity.” To carry out this mission and extract the DNA of the three beasts in question, Zora Bennett (Johansson) is tasked. During her expedition, she will meet a family whose boat capsized and who now find themselves stranded on the island…
