He will succeed Jean Dujardin in a remake of A Guy, a Girl
The RMC Story channel is preparing a new version of the cult program, with a well-known face on social networks to take over the emblematic male role of the series.
It’s a bold bet.
During the RMC group’s 2026 back-to-school conference, Stéphane Sallé de Chou, general director of the Entertainment division at Altice Media, confirmed that a new version of Un Gars, Une Fille in preparation for the RMC Story channel.
And Jean Dujardin’s successor is already known: it is Gillian Mussano, content creator with a huge following on Instagram and TikTok with her account Ton Pote Gillian, specializing in sketches around life as a couple. Asked about this iconic role by Puremédia, he recognizes the pressure of following in the footsteps of the original:
“I have a bit of pressure, obviously, because it’s a role that Jean Dujardin had. But at the same time, I really want to bring something else to this character.”
The objective of this new version is clearly to update the concept by anchoring it in contemporary relationships: “We are not going to repeat what has already been done. We are really going to bring everything we can see in a current couple, and we will not cheat.”
The content creator also wants to rely on his digital universe:
“I think I’ll try to bring a lot of what I’ve done to the networks, because people like it. It would be stupid not to bring back a few little sketches.”
The female role, successor to that of Alexandra Lamy, has not yet been revealed. But one thing is already certain: it will not be Gillian Mussano’s companion in the city.
