Jeremy Renner compares himself to Iron Man: “My body is now made up of 25% Titanium”
“I died, and I came back” confides the Marvel actor, miraculous after his snowplow accident.
On January 1, 2023, Jeremy Renner passed under a snowplow. Two years after the accident which almost cost him his life, the actor of Avengers spoke about his rehabilitation and return to form during a conference at the Red Sea Film Festival in Saudi Arabia (via Variety):
“I don’t think I’m limited today. Even if my body is 25% titanium… So fuck Iron Man!”
The interpreter of Hawkeye goes further and says: “It will be two years in January, and I am very, very proud to have overcome this great adversity in my life. I will be forever grateful for all the love and support I have received from people all over the world“.
Jeremy Renner confides at the same time that he is in the process of writing a book which will look back on these two years:
“I’m finalizing it, it’s still fresh in my mind. I’ve been putting off writing it for a while. There are so many wonderful gifts that come from being put out there. ordeal to the limits of death. Because I died, and I came back, and I came back for a reason, which had nothing to do with me. If it had been my choice, I would have preferred. stay But I came back, and I’m glad to be. back (…) 38 crushed bones and an eye gouged out, you know, those terrible things that happen to you when you suffer a serious accident, it’s nothing in the end I can say it now that I’m out of it. .The love and support of everyone I have in my life, that’s what matters.”
