Keanu Reeves makes his professional racing debut… and goes off the track
The actor lost control of his Toyota GR86 on the Indianapolis circuit this Saturday.
Like others before him – we think in particular of Patrick Dempsey – Keanu Reeves has a passion for car racing. The actor thus made his professional debut as a driver, on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway circuit on Saturday, participating in the Toyota GR Cup. He finally finished in an honorable 25th place out of 35 runners present.

Above all, the star of Matrix And John Wick gave his fans a little scare when he lost control of his car, a Toyota GR86, at the exit of turn 9, spinning into the grass (see the video below). Fortunately without collision!
It will be noted that Keanu Reeves drove a red car with the number 92 and was sponsored by Boom! Studios, the comic book company that publishes his series BRZRKRcomics co-written by Reeves himself. The other sponsor is none other than the Continental tire brand… fans of John Wick will appreciate the reference…
Let us specify that Keanu Reeves had already competed (and won!) in a celebrity race at the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach in 2009.
Looks like Keanu Reanu Reeves was chasing down a pack of cars in 21st out of 25, broke the rear end loose and eventually spun. He did get back going and John Wicked his way right back into the race. 😎 pic.twitter.com/vUaVLuRAUu
