Les Ensorceleuses 3: Sandra Bullock ready to pass the torch
While Les Ensorceleuses 2 is preparing to get off to a solid start in the United States, Sandra Bullock is already imagining the sequel and a new generation of witches.
Despite very mixed reviews, The Bewitchers 2 should have an excellent launch this weekend across the Atlantic. Specialists’ forecasts are for an opening of around $40 million. Enough to encourage Warner Bros. to keep the franchise active?
Sandra Bullock, in any case, is already looking beyond her own return to the Owens family. During his passage in Jimmy Kimmel Live!the actress was asked about the possibility of a third film and was quite enthusiastic about seeing a new generation take over.
“Yes, why not a sequel. I would like to pass the torch to the girls, to Joey and Maisie“, she confided, referring to Joey King and Maisie Williams, who respectively play Sally Owens’ daughters in the second film.

The two young actresses indeed occupy a central place in The Bewitchers 2.
Joey King, revealed in particular by The Kissing Boothand Maisie Williams, famous since her role as Arya Stark in Game of Thronescould therefore naturally become the new figures of the franchise if Warner Bros. decides to continue the adventure.
The saga currently has two films. Released in 1998, the first The Bewitchers had grossed only $94.4 million worldwide, for a budget of $75 million. However, it ended up becoming a cult film, finding a particularly loyal audience over the years.
It now remains to be seen whether the success of The Bewitchers 2 will be enough to convince Warner Bros. to recast the magic a third time.
