Merteuil will establish dangerous connections on HBO Max: First images

The platform unveils the release date and unpublished images of its event series.

On the occasion of the La Rochelle fiction festival, HBO Max raised the veil on Merteuil, its new French event series.

A historic fiction in costumes which brings together on the screen Anamaria Vartolomei (Isabelle de Merteuil), Diane Kruger (Madame de Rosemonde), Vincent Lacoste (Viscount de Valmont) and Lucas Bravo (Comte de Gercourt).

We will also find Noée Abita in the role of Madame de Tourvel, Julien de Saint-Jean in Louis de Germain, Fantine Harduin like Cécile de Volanges, Samuel Kircher in the skin of the Chevalier Danceny, and Sandrine Blancke in Madame de Volanges.

“To be the heroine of her own life, Isabelle de Merteuil will break that of others. Orphan without fortune, the young woman lets herself be trapped by the false promises of the Viscount of Valmont. Drunk of revenge, she begins a dizzying ascent, defying men and power, from the libertine shallows to the court of Louis XV. details the synopsis.

Freely adapted from the novel The dangerous links of Pierre Choderlos de Laclos, the series is produced by Jessica Palud, created by Jean-Baptiste Delafon, with a scenario of Jean-Baptiste Delafon in collaboration with Jessica Palud (episodes 1, 2 and 6) and Gaëlle Bellan (Episode 1). The production is provided by NABI Productions (UGC group) with Clément Birnbaum and Joachim Nahum, as well as Felicita Films (TF1 Studios group) with Marie Guillaumond.

HBO Max meets spectators on November 14 with an episode broadcast every week.
