Mission: Impossible – Fallout was released in summer 2018, but it is never too late to discover the back of the scene: the action film will return this Friday evening to M6, while The Final Reckoningthe last episode of the saga, currently a hit in the dining room.
An action scene taking place both in an airplane and in free fall had been talked about a lot when it was released in 2018. While it faces August Walker, alias Henry Cavill, Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) must jump into the void to continue his enemy. Photos had been posted in March on the director’s Instagram, Christopher Mcquarrie, to prepare for the film’s release. The filmmaker had added in legend: “Just a last plan. 7km, 320km/h, at dusk. Three minutes of light available. Two minutes of action. A chance per day. Just one. Just a last plan.“”

A few months later, a shooting video was posted on Twitter. A montage to understand how the spectacular sequence in question had been filmed.
You can see the duo of Tom Cruise and the executive launch out in a vacuum, as well as a comparison with the plans seen in the film. If effects were subsequently added, they only bring texture to the image, like the clouds in which the characters are lost in the film. For the rest, the director considered it necessary to make a real jump, as he explains on his account: “The horizon was real, as is the relationship between executive and actor.
