Quentin Dupieux shoots his new film, Full Phil, with Kristen Stewart
The director still set up an impressive cast, also with Woody Harrelson.
Quentin Dupieux announced via his Instagram account his return to the sets, barely three months after the release of his latest film, The piano accident. The shooting of Full Phil started a few days ago, with an impressive international casting.
Two Hollywood stars will be the headliners of the project: Kristen Stewart, who has already been led by a French director (Olivier Assayas in Personal shopper) and was recently in Deauville to present his first film as a director, The Chronology of Waterand Woody Harrelson, which we will soon find in Elusive 3.
Charlotte Le Bon will also be there, with Emma Mackey and Nassim Lyes. As well as American humorists Eric Wareheim and Tim Heidecker, who form the comic duo Tim & Eric. The first had already played for dupieux in Wrong Cops (2013) and Reality (2015), the latest films shot in English by the French director.
We do not know the story of Full Phil For the moment, nor its location or its release date. The film is produced by Chi-Fou-Mi, Hugo Selignac’s society, like almost all Dupieux since Mandibles.
In a portrait of VarietySelignac had announced a few weeks ago that Quentin Dupieux prepared two films in English with “leading actors“, stating that American actors were seduced by the freedom of mind of the Dupieux comedies.
