Reacher renewed for season 6 even before season 5

The series hosted by Alan Ritchson continues to be a hit on Prime Video, with 66 million viewers for its fourth season in just 28 days.

Jack Reacher isn’t about to put his fists away.

While season 5 of Reacher is still in production, Prime Video has already renewed the series for a sixth season. A decision which comes as the fourth season continues to break records on the platform.

According to Amazon, season 4 attracted 66 million viewers worldwide in just 28 days since its launch on August 12

The eight episodes completed their broadcast on September 16 and now allow the series to be among the five most viewed seasons in the entire history of Prime Video original productions.

And it’s not just the final season that works. Since its launch in 2022, Reacher has attracted 200 million spectators worldwide, all seasons combined.

“Reacher hits hard,” said Peter Friedlander, head of global television at Amazon MGM Studios. He believes that “Alan Ritchson has become Jack Reacher” and praises a performance which has captivated spectators around the world.

In the meantime, season 5 is still in preparation with Alan Ritchson in the title role and it does not yet have a date.
