Sharon Stone recounts the day a studio boss ‘stuck his penis under my nose’

During Kelly Ripa’s “Let’s Talk Off Camera” podcast, Sharon Stone revealed for the first time one of her most traumatic experiences in the industry. In the 1980s, before being the star of Basic Instinct And Casino, the young actress was invited to an interview with a Sony boss, who is no longer at the studio today. Without naming him, she recounts how he took his penis out in front of her face.
The actress remembers “having been very happy to go to this meeting. I had put on an elegant outfit to meet the boss of Sony, a Ralph Lauren jacket with a small ruffle on the shoulder and a denim skirt with a big ruffle at the bottom. I went to his office. It was the 80s, so his couch was basically on the floor, you know? It was the time of very low giant sofas and my knees were at the level of my neck, because I am quite tall. So I’m sitting like this, he’s pacing back and forth in his office…”
Sharon Stone says that he stopped at one point to declare to the young woman: “Oh, it’s true what they say about you, you are really very, very beautiful… We haven’t seen anyone like you in decades. Everyone is talking about you and looking at you. You speak well. You’re smart. You’re beautiful. And your hair…” In the wake of this worrying tirade, the studio executive comes forward:
“He stands right in front of me and says: ‘But first…’ And then he sticks his penis directly under my nose! Of course, I was very young. And I was very nervous. As I am basically a very bubbly person, I started laughing. I started laughing and crying at the same time. I couldn’t stop, I was getting hysterical. I couldn’t stop, so he didn’t know what to do anymore. So he put his stuff away and left through a door behind his desk.”
Sharon Stone remembers sitting there, and finally her secretary arrived. “She took me out. Normal.” And the actress concluded: “Unfortunately, this was not the last of many strange experiences like this that I have had in my career.“
Sharon Stone still assures that she will always be ready to accept the apologies of the men of Hollywood who have mistreated her over the years. For those who don’t apologize: “Don’t ever sit next to me again, because if you sit next to me again, I will stand up in public and say everything. I’ve been to screenings where the only seat left was empty next to me, because I told the guy to go sit on the stairs in the aisle, because he knew. Don’t come near me unless you want to apologize.”
