Spectacular new trailer and images for the animated series Stranger Things
These Chronicles from 1985 will allow fans to find the kids from Hawkins, before Vecna, when everything was going well or almost for the little band from Indiana.
Less than four months after the end of season 5, the Stranger Things saga will return to Netflix!
The platform unveils a new trailer for Stranger Things: The Chronicles of 1985, its spin-off cartoon, which promises to show the strip at its prime, during the winter of 1985 Hawkins, Indiana. Eleven will be able to put her powers into action, as shown in the new trailer which promises quite a few creatures and spectacular scenes.
Snow covers the small town, the horrors of the Upside Down seem far away… but it won’t last. Set between seasons 2 and 3, the series dives into this suspended moment where the gang tries to become children again: games of Dungeons & Dragons, snowball fights, quiet days. But “underneath the ice, something terrifying has awakened,” announces the synopsis. Hawkins has never really been calm. “Our heroes must race to solve this mystery and save Hawkins.”
For this animated version, no member of the original cast lends their voices.
We find Brooklyn Davey Norstedt (Eleven), Jolie Hoang-Rappaport (Max), Luca Diaz (Mike), Elisha “EJ” Williams (Lucas), Braxton Quinney (Dustin), Benjamin Plessala (Will), Brett Gipson (Hopper), Jeremy Jordan (Steve), and guests like Janeane Garofalo, Lou Diamond Phillips and Odessa A’zion.
If creators Matt and Ross Duffer remain executive producers to guarantee the DNA of the series, Eric Robles, newcomer to the franchise, assumes the role of showrunner and director. He takes charge of the narration, tone and animation, breathing new life while respecting the Hawkins spirit.
Stranger Things: Chronicles of 1985 releases April 23, 2026 on Netflix.
