Star Wars: The Phantom Menace will be released in cinemas in France for its 25th anniversary
In Pathé Gaumont cinemas, on a symbolic date.

Another era, another date. Next May 4 – aka “Star Wars Day” (because May the Fourth be with you) – Star Wars: The Phantom Menace will be released in theaters all over the world, and also in France in Pathé-Gaumont cinemas, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the film George Lucas.

And the fans who will (re)see this Episode I in theaters will be entitled to a small bonus, since a preview of The Acolyte will be included in the projections. It's unclear if this will be a snippet or a new teaser, but Disney is talking about an “exclusive preview” of the upcoming Disney+ series, which takes place approximately 100 years before The Phantom Menace.
