The 2024 Cannes Film Festival Critics’ Week selection announced
11 films will be presented for this 63rd edition of Critics’ Week.
More than a thousand films were candidates this year, to go to the Critics' Week of the 77th Cannes Film Festival. On arrival, 7 feature films were selected to be in competition, facing the jury chaired by the Spanish director, screenwriter and producer Rodrigo Sorogoyen. At her side will be French producer Sylvie Pialat, Rwandan actress Éliane Umuhire, Belgian cinematographer Virginie Surdej and Canadian film critic Ben Croll.

The ghoststhe first feature film by Frenchman Jonathan Millet, which traces the hunt for a war criminal by one of his victims, will open, whileAnimal by Emma Benestan (France, Belgium) will close.
Finally, two films will be screened in Special Screenings: Drama queens by Alexis Langlois and The sea in the distance (Across the Sea) by Saïd Hamich Benlarbi.
