The Boys season 4: the new teaser will make the heads of those who have seen Gen V explode
The spin-off and the main series are extremely linked, as this new promotional video reminds us.
If you missed Gen V, the spin-off of The Boys which takes place in a faculty for superheroes, you would surely be well advised to catch up (we told you all the good things we think about it here). The new teaser for season 4 of The Boys can only be seen in all its irony if you have watched the entire derivative series: we see MP Victoria Neuman (Claudia Doumit) in a campaign clip for the elections, trying to ensure that “Super Lives Matter” (“superhero lives matter”, an obvious ironic reference to the Black Lives Matter movement).

Except that at the end of Gen V (WARNING, SPOILERS AHEAD, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!), which takes place between seasons 3 and 4 of The Boys, Neuman's character leaves with a virus developed specifically to kill superheroes with a slow and particularly agonizing death. Obviously, she intends to use it, or at least put pressure on the superheroes to get what she wants… And she is so keen to keep the secret surrounding the said virus that she makes the head of the scientist who developed it.
What really is his plan? We will have to wait for season 4 of The Boys for the knowledge. The broadcast of the first three episodes is scheduled for June 13, on Prime Video.

The promotion of The Boys also posted two posters online with Homelander and Victoria Neuman which clearly refer to Donald Trump's famous slogan: “Make America Great Again”. All this on the day of “Super Tuesday”, an important stage of the American presidential elections which took place yesterday.
