The huge ad that brings back the original Jurassic Park trio

Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum replay the first film… What if the computer system had been repaired and the stay had gone off without a hitch?

What if Dennis Nedry’s (Wayne Knight) plan hadn’t worked?

You didn’t say the magic word! Certainly, but for the 2026 Super Bowl, Comcast is playing again Jurassic Park by providing the solution with its Xfinity service.

An impressive ad, which will be broadcast during Super Bowl LX, to promote the American telecoms giant, and which in the process reinvents the plot of the Jurassic Park from 1993, in the middle of the first dinosaur park. Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum return to the cast to replay their respective roles as Dr. Alan Grant, Dr. Ellie Sattler and Dr. Ian Malcolm. The production went to great lengths to rejuvenate the stars and make them look like their counterparts of the time. There are even special effects for the dinos!

Above all, in this version, the three scientists can finally breathe: no catastrophe in sight. Using Comcast’s Xfinity connectivity, all fleet systems came back online within minutes. Phew! The stay went well…

A funny remake full of self-deprecation, made possible thanks to the logic of American conglomerates: Comcast is in fact the parent company owning the Universal studio, which owns the rights to the saga Jurassic Park. And it’s also the group that owns the NBC channel, which will broadcast the 2026 Super Bowl this Sunday…

“For more than three decades, the franchise has captured the imagination of audiences around the world, and this partnership with Xfinity allows fans to experience this universe from an entirely new perspective”explains David O’Connor, chief brand officer at Universal Entertainment, a Comcast subsidiary NBCUniversal. “By combining the timeless characters and iconic moments of the original film with modern technology, we celebrate the legacy of Jurassic Park while introducing it to a new generation…”
