The new James Bond is revealed in the First Light trailer

Patrick Gibson, young Dexter on Canal +, will play 007 in the future video game.

Still no official replacement for Daniel Craig. And yet a new 007 is there …

On the occasion of the State of Play organized by PlayStation, the IO Interactive studio lifted the veil on 007 First lighttheir brand new video games dedicated to the British spy. The freshly revealed trailer offers a first glimpse of the new face which will resume the cult role of James Bond.

And it is Patrick Gibsonrecently revealed in the series Dexter: The originswho lends his features to the famous secret agent in this unprecedented video game rereading.

As with the serial killer, he will play a young version of the character, in a prequel telling the origins of His Majesty’s spy, with having his dual zero number.

007 First light thus promises a new exciting adventure, like a new opus in the young years of James Bondstill recruited, while he begins his training within the MI6 program. Io Interactive describes it as a real “Origin Story” of the future iconic spy and it is also the trailer (see below) which begins by presenting this raw talent, an orphan who attended the deadly fall of his parents during an ascent.

“In 007 First Light, play a young James Bond, resourceful, sometimes reckless, in full immersion in the MI6 training program, and discover the origins of the most famous spy.”

Alongside this Leap Beginner, there will be several well -known faces of the universe: M, Q, and Moneypenny will be there. The game will also introduce new characters, including Greenway, Bond mentor, embodied by Lennie Jamesgiven in particular in The Walking Dead.

We would almost forget that this is a game! An action game in which you will have to carry out missions to the four corners of the world, to bring down a great villain who seems to be 009 …

007 First light will be released in 2026, exclusively on PS5. No precise date yet, but the title will be optimized for the PS5 PRO, with a quality mode at 60 images per second thanks to the PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution technology.
