The Scrubs team has started filming the new season

A little behind-the-scenes video reveals the cast’s return to Sacred Heart Hospital.

The stethoscope will bling again. More than 15 years later, Scrubs has officially restarted the machine, and the revival is finally taking shape: filming is underway, and the cast is complete.

As for returns, Zach Braff will return to play JD, with Donald Faison (Turk) and Sarah Chalke (Elliot). Judy Reyes (Carla) and John C. McGinley (Dr. Cox) will be there in recurring appearances, as will other cult faces in appearances, including The Todd and Hooch, for a dose of regulatory chaos.

Creator Bill Lawrence wants to map everyone: “My hope is that we establish where everyone is, whether they’re still in the hospital or not.” And he even hopes to be able to stop by and say hello to Neil Flynn (the Janitor) and Ken Jenkins (Kelso), sacrosanct figure of Sacred Heart. Obviously, who says Scrubs says new generation. The series therefore reinjects new blood, with an unprecedented promotion of interns and two new recurring roles: a wellness manager who risks coming up against the misanthropy of Dr. Cox, and a regular doctor supposed to embody the future of the hospital – or its next running gag…

This new season of Scrubs does not yet have a release date. It will be seen on Disney + in France. In the meantime, check out this little behind-the-scenes video to announce the band’s return:
