The white witch of the new Narnia made her first appearance on the set
While production is underway in the streets of London, images have leaked on the networks.
New images from filming Narnia From Netflix has just leaned online and offer a first overview of the white witch of Greta Gerwig’s film.
The shots and videos, relayed on social networks show the lining of Emma Mackey in costume, in a dark and imposing outfit. We see it in particular on horseback, crossing a city recreated for the needs of production. For the moment it is impossible to know which scene was filmed, but it is the first concrete appearance of this cult character in the new adaptation.
A sign that the white witch, an emblematic antagonist of the universe of CS Lewis, will be back in this film which will go back to the origins of Narnia. She will be played by Emma Mackey from Sex Education And younger than in previous films (the role was held by Tilda Swinton).

Netflix provides for The world of Narnia: the Magician’s nephew A limited release in IMAX theaters for two weeks in November 2026, before a global arrival on the streaming platform on December 25, 2026.
Directed and written by Greta Gerwig, this new opus already benefits from a prestigious cast: Emma Mackey, Daniel Craig, Carey Mulligan and Meryl Streep, which will lend her voice to the Lion Aslan.
