After Leonardo DiCaprio at Paul Thomas Anderson, Warner Bros. announces Tom Cruise at Alejandro González Iñárritu!

The studio hopes to be as strong asOne Battle after another with Diggerof which we have already discovered a first teaser which reveals the title.

We know that the star of Mission: Impossible has spent the last few months filming this mystery project with Iñárritu. And we learn in passing that Digger will be released on October 2, 2026.

Warner Bros. also reveals a first poster accompanied by a promising slogan: “A comedy of catastrophic proportions.

Filmed in the United Kingdom, Digger marks Iñárritu’s return to English-speaking cinema, his first English-language film since The Revenantwhich also earned Leonardo DiCaprio an Oscar (long awaited). What if Tom Cruise…?

Alejandro González Iñárritu wrote the screenplay with his accomplices from BirdmanNicolas Giacobone and Alexander Dinelaris. The story is still secret, but we will obviously have to dig deeper…
