Trailer: Ben Affleck returns to thriller with Animals

For his sixth feature film as director, the Hollywood star – Oscar winner for Argo – returns behind and in front of the camera with this Netflix film.

A little more than three years after Air, which told the true story of Nike with Michael Jordan for Prime Video, filmmaker Ben Affleck – Oscar winner for Argo – returns behind the camera. But this time, direction Netflix, with Animals.

For his sixth feature film, the director of The Town and Live by Night returns to the thriller and also slips in front of the camera into the shoes of the future mayor of Los Angeles.

“When their son is kidnapped, a candidate for mayor of Los Angeles and his wife struggle to raise the ransom money and make choices that could turn their lives upside down,” details the synopsis.

On screen, Ben Affleck shares the poster with Kerry Washington, while Gillian Anderson will try to help them resolve this crisis.

Steven Yeun, Adriana Paz and Luis Gerardo Méndez complete the cast.

Animals will arrive on Netflix on October 9.
