Adapted from a novel from Laurent Gaudéon a scenario ofOlivier Demangelthe film Dog 51 Plunges us into a Paris of the future that is both freezing and fascinating, where social borders have been erected in very real walls.
The official synopsis promises: “In the near future, Paris has been divided into 3 areas that separate social classes and where artificial intelligence Alma revolutionized police work. Until its inventor is assassinated and that Salia and Zem, two police officers that everything opposes, are forced to collaborate to conduct the investigation.”
With this teaser, Jimenez announces the color: Dog 51 will be tense, stylized, and furiously political. A high tension police hunt in a fractured city, which questions our present as much as it anticipates our future.
