5 years after Homeland, the new thriller by Claire Danes: trailer

She will meet Matthew Rhys from The Americans in this new Netflix series.

This is a new Netflix series that could make the event: The Beast in Me, a psychological thriller worn by two multi-printed stars at the Emmy Awards, today reveals his trailer.

Claire Danes, Homeland star, and Matthew Rhys, star of The Americans, will be gathered in this new criminal series in 8 episodes, produced by Howard Gordon, already showrunner of Homeland, who thus finds Claire Danes, 5 years after the end of the cult series. The creator and screenwriter of The Beast in Me is called Gabe Rotter (an elder from X-Files).

Danes embodies Aggie Wiggs, a celebrated author who withdrew from public life since the tragic death of her son. Broken and unable to write, she suddenly finds inspiration when a certain Nile Jarvis (Rhys), real estate magnate and former main suspect in the mysterious disappearance of his wife, moved to the neighboring house. Horrified and fascinated at the same time, Aggie then embarks on an obsessive quest for truth. A cat and mouse game is committed, where everyone faces their demons – with death in ambush.

The casting also includes Brittany Snow (The Hunting Wives) and Natalie Morales (Grey’s Anatomy), with noted appearances by Jonathan Banks (Breaking Bad), David Lyons (Revolution), Deirdre O’Connell (The Penguin) and Hettienne Park (The Last of Us).

The beast in me will be available from Thursday, November 13 on Netflix.
