Spider-Man’s Brother Has Role in Deadpool & Wolverine
A surprise even for Ryan Reynolds, who has lost count of the cameos in his own film.
Deadpool & Wolverine is full of cameos. So much so that even Ryan Reynoldsyet actor, screenwriter and producer of the film, is not aware of some of them. One scene, in particular, multiplies the winks: that of the battle of the Pools, which sees an armada of Deadpool variants pour into his city.
In the middle of easter eggs scattered here and there and quickly identified, under one of the countless red masks, hides a certain Harry… Holland, the brother of Tom Hollandwho has played Spider-Man for the MCU since 2016 and Captain America: Civil War.
It is George Cottlestunt coordinator and second unit director who revealed the young man’s participation in the filming of Deadpool 3via his Instagram story. “When (Shawn Levy) and (Ryan Reynolds) raised the bar so high that even the stunt team needed a special guest!!!” he wrote in the caption of a photo where Harry Holland poses, dressed in the Deadpool costume.
“This may not be the Holland the world wanted, but this is the Holland we all needed!! You rocked my friend”he concludes with the hashtag #Haroldpool.
An announcement that surprised more than one, and with them, one of the first interested parties: Ryan Reynolds. Reposting the story of his collaborator, the star of the film, who we imagine knows every nook and cranny of it, expressed his surprise on his own Instagram account: “Is this how I find out?!? You’re the one telling me?”he wrote.
Overshadowed by the international career of his superhero big brother, this is not the first time that Harry Holland has stepped in front of a camera. A small role in a deleted scene from No Way Home (visible in the version “The More Fun Stuff”), he made his debut alongside Tom in The Impossibleand is best known for playing a young Prince Harry in the Diana ofOlivier Hirschbiegel.
Deadpool & Wolverineof Shawn Levy, with Harry Holland, but especially Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman And Emma Corrin is currently showing in theaters. Here is the trailer:
