The Mandalorian will discover the universe of one of the most estimated Star Wars creators.

Pedro Pascal is in final negotiations to play the first role in the film Behemoth! For Searchlight Pictures, a new project written and carried out by Tony Gilroy.

Obviously, Star Wars fans will have noted the wink: the hero of Mandalorian will discover the universe of the director of Andor and scriptwriter of Rogue One.

Of course, it will not be a new story in the very distant galaxy, but the details of the plot and the characters remain secret. Gilroy has already suggested that the story would revolve around a cellist. The shooting should start this fall in Los Angeles. For the moment, no official release date for Behemoth! has not been announced.

Note that it will be the fourth feature film directed by Tony Gilroy, to whom we owe in particular Jason Bourne: L’Héritage (2012) and Michael Clayton (2007).
