Netflix has unveiled a new One Piece season 2 trailer, for the next chapter of the globally successful live-action adaptation of Eiichiro Oda’s cult manga.

This new video highlights the arrival of Baroque Works, an organization of assassins led by the mysterious Mr. 0, who will become the Straw Hats’ first real obstacle on the road to the Grand Line. A gallery of key characters makes its debut in this season 2: Lera Abova plays Miss All Sunday / Nico Robin, Charithra Chandran lends her features to Miss Wednesday / Princess Vivi, David Dastmalchian to Mr. 3, Camrus Johnson to Mr. 5, Jazzara Jaslyn to Miss Valentine, Daniel Lasker to Mr. 9 and Sophia Ann Caruso to Miss Goldenweek.

The trailer offers a first glimpse of their Devil Fruit powers (especially Nico Robin’s iconic techniques) and also teases his first interactions with Luffy and the rest of the crew.

“The epic adventure of piracy on the high seas offered by Netflix, returns for a second season with formidable adversaries and quests more perilous than ever. Luffy and the Straw Hats set sail for the legendary maritime stretch of the Grand Line, where dangers and wonders await them at every turn. During their journey on this unpredictable ocean, in search of the most precious treasure in the world, they will dock on unusual islands and encounter a host of new enemies” details the synopsis.

One Piece is written and produced by Steven Maeda (The X-Files) and Matt Owens (Agents of SHIELD), the latter serving as showrunner alongside Joe Tracz for this new round of episodes. The series returns to its main cast: Iñaki Godoy (Monkey D. Luffy), Mackenyu (Roronoa Zoro), Emily Rudd (Nami), Jacob Romero Gibson (Usopp) and Taz Skylar (Sanji).

This season 2 will also introduce several cult characters from the manga, eagerly awaited by fans: Mikaela Hoover as Tony Tony Chopper, Katey Sagal as Dr. Kureha, Callum Kerr as Smoker, Julia Rehwald as Tashigi, Rigo Sanchez as Monkey D. Dragon, as well as Joe Manganiello in the role of Crocodile / Mr. 0, among others.

Proof of Netflix’s confidence in its franchise, the series has already been renewed for a season 3.

This season 2 of One Piece will be released on March 10, 2026 on the platform in France.
