Catherine and Liliane, the film: Alex Lutz brings the duo to the cinema
A comedy which will be called A Journey.
Catherine and Liliane will make their return! But not on Canal. The two editorial secretaries, as indiscreet as they are hilarious, talking about rain and shine with a mixture of bad wit and formidable absurdity, will move to the big screen.
The two gossips played by Alex Lutz and Bruno Sanches, will become the heroines of a film, according to Le Film Français, which announces a feature film entitled A trip.
The film will be directed by Alex Lutz, who has just won his third Molière thanks to his show Sex, Grog and Rocking Chair. The actor has already signed several successful films such as guy (2021) or Connemara (2025). The project is produced by Grand Dukes Films.
Created in 2012 for The Little Journal on Canal+, the duo accompanied viewers until 2019 with their sketches that have become cult.
For the moment, very little information has leaked about the plot of A trip. But just the title suggests an escapade in the company of Catherine and Liliane… and that’s already a strange promise.
