The new Netflix series adapted from Harlan Coben and Myron Bolitar finds its stars
Netflix continues its collaboration with the American writer. The platform has just formalized the main casting for its highly anticipated adaptation of the famous Bolitar saga.
In the wake of the success of On Your Tracks and after having adapted more than a dozen of his novels, Netflix is now tackling Harlan Coben’s most emblematic book saga: the Myron Bolitar saga. According to Deadline, the platform has found the three main performers for this new series.
Colin Woodell (Pulse, The Continental) will play Myron Bolitar, while KJ Apa (Riverdale) will play his loyal partner Win Lockwood. Finally, Diane Guerrero (Orange Is the New Black, The Lincoln Defense) will complete the main trio in the role of Esperanza Diaz.
The series will follow Myron Bolitar, a former NBA prospect whose basketball career is abruptly cut short by a serious injury. Forced to change his life, he became a sports agent. Thanks to his intelligence, his charisma and the help of his inseparable associate Win, he finds himself navigating the darkest areas of professional sport, where he is often called upon to resolve his clients’ most delicate problems.
Myron Bolitar is part of the long-standing partnership between Netflix and Harlan Coben, which has already given rise to numerous successful adaptations, including Fool Me Once, Stay Close, The Woods, Safe, Gone for Good and Just a Look.
At the helm of the series will be David E. Kelley (Big Little Lies, The Lincoln Defense) and Kyle Long, who will serve as showrunners, writers and executive producers alongside Harlan Coben.
No release date has yet been announced by Netflix.
