Robert Pattinson Stalks Predators in Primetime Trailer
Lance Oppenheim moves into fiction with this thriller dedicated to the behind the scenes of the American show “To Catch a Predator”, which trapped sexual predators.
A documentary specialist, director Lance Oppenheim takes his first steps in fiction with Primetimea criminal thriller that looks back on the turbulent history of To Catch a Predatora famous American television show launched in the mid-2000s.
The film goes behind the scenes of this NBC program, which featured journalist Chris Hansen confronting men who came to a house trap after interacting with fake minors online. The meetings were then followed by the intervention of the police and numerous arrests.
“In 2006, Chris Hansen, the presenter of the show To Catch a Predator, set out to make television history“, details the French synopsis.
After The Odyssey and waiting to find him in Dune 3 this winter, then in The Batman 2Robert Pattinson lends his features to Chris Hansen and also serves as producer of the film. Alongside him, the cast includes Merritt Wever, Skyler Gisondo, Matthew Maher, Bokeem Woodbine and Anna Faris.
Primetime will have its world premiere in official competition during the 83rd edition of the Venice Film Festival. The film will then be released in French cinemas on September 23, 2026.
