Tom Cruise has the time of his life in the new Digger trailer

The Hollywood star sports a stunning look in the new film by Alejandro G. Iñárritu.

A man. A plan. A disaster.

Oscar-winning filmmaker BirdmanAlejandro G. Iñárritu makes his return to cinema with Diggernotably with Tom Cruise in the title role.

“The most powerful man in the world embarks on a frantic mission to establish himself as the savior of humanity before the catastrophe, which he himself triggered, wipes out the planet” details the synopsis.

Tom Cruise sports a whimsical Texan oil tycoon look in this crazy new trailer released by Warner Bros. and in which we discover the actor of Mission: Impossible in a totally inhabited role which recalls his performance of Magnolia by Paul Thomas Anderson (1999), which earned him an Oscar nomination!

At his side, we will see Riz Ahmed and Sandra Hüller, as well as Michael Stuhlbarg, Jesse Plemons, and Emma D’Arcy from House of the Dragon.

Alejandro G. Iñárritu is directing, from a screenplay he co-wrote with Alexander Dinelaris and Nicolás Giacobon.

Digger will be released in France in cinemas on September 30, 2026.
