The film in theaters: The Life of a Woman by Charline Bourgeois-Taquet

We discovered Charline Bourgeois-Tacquet with Les Amours d’Anaïs, on the terrain of marivaudage which she mixes here with societal considerations by embracing the deleterious state of the French hospital system. A mixture of genres united in one character. A maxillofacial surgeon and head of department who holds almost everything on her shoulders (her relationship, her mother, her sister, her team, etc.) without ever showing a sign of weakness until she is suddenly struck by an unexpected crush on a writer. A perfectly written role in which Léa Drucker once again proves irresistible.

The film in streaming: Ten percent, the film by Emilie Noblet

Five years after the end of its 4th season, the series on the world of agents becomes a feature film without losing any of its DNA, between humor and cruelty, sprinkled with just the right amount of tenderness. All based on a duo who had no face-to-face scene in the series: Andréa (Camille Cottin) and Noémie (Laure Calamy), the first having reinvented herself as a director and entrusting the eventful production of her first feature film to the second. A duo of opposites all the more irresistible because it never overwhelms the other recurring characters and the guests (including for one scene – brilliant – George Clooney) who take a pleasure on screen as great as ours in finding them.
