A date for Beef 2, with Oscar Isaac and Carey Mulligan

Almost three years after an acclaimed first season, carried by Steven Yeun and Ali Wong, a new story arrives on Netflix.

Netflix has officially set the release date for season 2 of Beef, one of the most acclaimed series of recent years.

The new season will go online on April 16, 2026. True to its status as an anthology series, Beef leaves with a brand new story and an impressive cast, led by Oscar Isaac and Carey Mulligan, accompanied by Charles Melton and Cailee Spaeny as well as Seoyeon Jang.

At the helm is Lee Sung Jin, creator of the series and showrunner of the first season. This season 2 will focus on a young couple witnessing a violent argument between their boss and his wife, triggering a chess game of favors, manipulation and pressure in the ultra-elitist world of a country club run by a Korean billionaire, according to the official synopsis.

First broadcast in April 2023, season 1 of Beef featured Steven Yeun and Ali Wong face to face and then side by side. A true critical phenomenon, the series won eight Emmy Awards, including that for best mini-series or anthology series, as well as two acting statuettes for Steven Yeun and Ali Wong.
