A season 2 for Iris on Canal +? “In 10 years why not…”

Doria Tillier reveals that she does not have a plan in mind, but does not rule out bringing back her quirky heroine one day.

Only six episodes and just over two hours in the company ofIris…it’s not much! SO Doria Tillier does she plan to bring back the young thirty-year-old, in contradiction with the whole world, for a season 2?

We asked her the question (via the CNC) and she reveals that for the moment, no action is in the pipeline: “I don’t know because I just finished the series, only a few weeks ago. Concretely, it’s been two or three weeks since I stopped working on Irisso I think I need a break. Right now, bringing her back isn’t the point for me.”

If she admits to having obviously thought about things, during her work on the first season, nothing is really considered. Doria Tillier however leaves a door ajar for a return ofIrisone day, perhaps:

“It’s true that I thought about it during the writing. It’s possible that there will be a second season one day, but frankly, I don’t know… It’s a character who could also come back in 10 years… why not?”

His co-writer, Constance Verlucawants to be optimistic and assures that Iris still has things to say about the world: “It’s quite an inexhaustible theme! I love Iris and I want to spend two more years with her!”
