Julia Ducournau made his comeback in competition at the Cannes Film Festival last May with Alphafour years after the golden palm of Titanium. A come back which unfortunately did not conquer the criticism, nor the jury chaired by Juliette Binoche. The director, however, gave herself as never in this poignant drama, a parable of the plagues of AIDS and the heroine who marked the years 1980 and 1990. Will the public allow themselves more to be touched by this personal film, which can be discovered in the cinema from August 20?

After a first teaser released for his presentation on the Croisette, Alpha It is revealed a little more in a trailer punctuated by the beautiful melancholy of “The Mercy Seat” by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds (Live version). New captivating images drawing the emotional triangle formed by Tahar Rahim, Golshifteh Farahani and the young Melissa Boroswhich plays the title role of the film.
