The pop star continues to collaborate with the studio by integrating one of its most lucrative franchises. The first three components – My stepfather and me (2000), My stepfather, my parents and me (2004) and My stepfather and we (2010)-has garnered a total of $ 1.13 billion at the world box office.
The details of the intrigue of this fourth opus remain secret. But producer Jane Rosenthal recently confided that “Ben Stiller is now the same age as (from Niro) during the shooting of the first film. His children grew up, and they must now go home … and present their partners to parents.”
Implied, Stiller will now be the stepfather and Ariana Grande could perfectly play her daughter Samantha now an adult – that we met a child in the 3rd opus – landing at home with his fiancé …
The scenario is signed John Hamburgalready co-author of the three previous films, which will also ensure the realization.
