Spider-Man Returns in Exciting Brand New Day Trailer

Brand New Day will be the longest Spider-Man film in the MCU

A few weeks before its release, the duration of the new Spider-Man has been revealed. And the fourth film led by Tom Holland will break a small record within the saga.

Peter Parker will take his time swinging from building to skyscraper.

While the release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day fast approaching, an important new detail has just emerged online, concerning the duration of the highly anticipated blockbuster from Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures. According to information posted by the American cinema chain AMC Theaters, the film directed by Destin Daniel Cretton would have a duration of 150 minutes, or exactly 2h30.

This makes Spider-Man: Brand New Day the longest Spider-Man film produced as part of the MCU. A record, however, achieved extremely narrowly since Spider-Man: No Way Home already peaked at 148 minutes. The two previous parts were significantly shorter: Spider-Man: Homecoming lasted 2h13 while Spider-Man: Far From Home stopped at 2:09 a.m.

After the events of Spider-Man: No Way Homewhich led Peter Parker to erase all traces of his existence from the memories of those close to him, Brand New Day will open a whole new chapter in its history. Four years have passed. Now an adult and completely alone, Peter devotes his life to protecting New York, a city that no longer even knows who he is. But as the pressure mounts, a strange physical development threatens his existence while a new wave of crimes seems to herald the arrival of one of the most dangerous adversaries he has ever faced.

Still starring Tom Holland, the film will mark the return of the weaver to the big screen after five years of absence since the historic triumph of No Way Homewhich had exceeded $1.9 billion in global revenue.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be released in French theaters on July 29, 2026.
