Brendan Gleeson Joins Nicolas Cage in Spider-Man Noir
After ignoring Colin Farrell in The Banshees of Inisherin, Brendan Gleeson will attack Nicolas Cage. The Irish actor has been officially cast to star in the upcoming live-action series. Spider-Man Noir.
His role is still being kept secret but according to Variety, he should play the big villain of the story, the enemy of the Spider-Man private detective played by Cage. This will not be his first TV role, he who was Mr. Mercedes based on Stephen King for three seasons.
The rest of the cast consists of Lamorne Morris, Abraham Popoola and Li Jun Li.
According to the official synopsis, the series “tells the story of an aging, down-on-his-luck private investigator in 1930s New York who is forced to confront his past life as the city’s one and only superhero.”
Spider-Man Noir will be 8 episodes. No release date on Prime Video yet.
