Stylish new trailer for Nicolas Cage as Spider-Noir
The 62-year-old actor will swing at the end of a canvas in the new Prime Video series, to be seen in black and white.
He will look classy, as a private detective who weaves webs!
Nicolas Cage will be the Spider-Black for Prime Video, and we discover a magnificent new trailer, which shows his character at the bottom of the abyss, after he lost the love of his life. But meanwhile in New York, chaos escalates. Supernatural enemies are spreading panic, and the headlines are screaming: “Monsters are attacking the police.”
Brendan Gleeson will play the supervillain Silverman, of absolute power, leader of the underworld, and Nicolas Cage will have to bring out his hero costume to stop him.
The 62-year-old actor will play Ben Reilly, unlucky detective aka Spider-Noir, a character the actor already voiced in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. If his animated performance had popularized this vigilante in a trench coat, the Prime Video series is directly inspired by Spider-Man Noir comics rather than Sony animated films.
Set in 1930s New York, Spider-Noir follows an aging private detective forced to confront his past, once the city’s only superhero.
Incidentally, Prime Video has revealed the release date, set for May 27 in streaming.
The rest of the cast will feature Lamorne Morris, as well as Abraham Popoola, Li Jun Li, Karen Rodriguez and Jack Huston. Guest side: Lukas Haas, Cameron Britton, Cary Christopher, Michael Kostroff, Scott MacArthur, Joe Massingill, Whitney Rice, Amanda Schull, Andrew Caldwell, Amy Aquino, Andrew Robinson and Kai Caster.
