The scenario of the day: Sorda from Eva Libertad Garcia

Angela and Hector love each other with a cloudless love for almost 3 years and are about to have their first child … without suspecting that this happiness will reveal flaws so far invisible in their relationship. The director Eva Libertad Garcia, inspired by the history of her sister also hardy, seized by her ability to go backwards from the idea of ​​a maternity that would necessarily be happy and fulfilling. Thanks to a writing of characters who never rounds the corners and its ability to gradually immerse us in Angela’s head. And this in particular thanks to an amazing work on the sound which will gradually make us hear the world as Angela understands it. We physically feel his loneliness and the feeling of injustice in the face of a Hector yet loving but that the transition from a life to 2 to a life to 3 has also necessarily impacted. In 2018, Principa Car founded an alternative cinema school in Marseille with the ambition to integrate this art into the daily life of young people often kept away from culture due to economic or educational difficulties. An ex-prostitutes who will shatter the small band (99% male) who surrounds her and especially their relationship hitherto rather primary to sex and love. Doped by the energy and the authenticity of its interpreters, the film amazes by its way of foiling absolutely all the clichés on men-women relationships among young people in these popular districts. Or more specifically to reinvent the codes through in particular an unexpected sorority which develops between the girlfriend of Omar and Carmen with whom the latter nevertheless deceived it, in place of the usual ranging of grabs.
