Cannes 2024: Philippe Rombi and François Ozon will give a music lesson for Sacem
The composer and director will reveal behind the scenes of their collaboration, which has lasted 25 years and Les Amants Criminels.
The partnership between the Cannes Film Festival and Sacem (Society of Authors, Composers and Music Publishers), launched in 2018, has become an unmissable event of the fortnight. After Howard Shore and Martin Scorsese last year, it's the duo Philippe Rombi and François Ozon who will come to the Croisette to give us a music lesson.
Composer Philippe Rombi and director François Ozon form an essential pair in French cinema. Of the Criminal lovers (1999) to Swimming pool (2003), through Potiche (2012) and My Crime (2023), their collaboration has produced 13 feature films in 24 years. They will be in Cannes to reveal behind the scenes of their work on May 20 at 4:30 p.m., in the Palais des Festivals, Salle Buñuel.
