The incredible true story of Jeffrey Manchester will be told by Paramount And Miramax In Roofmanwith Channing Tatum in the title role. The trailer promises a dramatic and romantic comedy, with impossible redemption accents.
Directed by Derek Cianfrance (Blue Valentine,, The place Beyond the pines),, Roofman tells the journey of an old army ranger, father in great financial difficulty, who decides to robbers from McDonald’s … via the roofs. A method as spectacular as it is effective, which will earn him his nickname “roofman”.
After his prison escape, he found refuge in a US “R” toys of North Carolina, where he tries to start from scratch. But there, he falls in love with a single mother embodied by Kirsten Dunstand gets attached to her two daughters. Will he really be able to rebuild his life? His criminal past and a final break will threaten this fragile hope of redemption.
Peter DinklageBen Mendelsohn, Lakeith Stanfield, Juno Temple, Melonie Diaz and Uzo Aduba will also be in the casting.
This very promising Roofman will be released in American theaters in October 2025. No French release date yet.
