Charisma Carpenter will not be in the new Buffy series

No, we will not see Cordelia with the new killer.

The new Buffy series will be one of the events for the next few.

Then rumors were racing. And Charisma Carpenter wanted to make things clear about her possible participation in the reboot which will see Sarah Michelle Gellar supervising a new killer: she will not be!

In a tiktok video posted on Monday (see below) the actress said:

“I often ask me the question: ‘Are you part of the reboot?’ Well, I will be clear.

We understand her message that it was not she who said no but that she was not (yet?) Was invited to the party.

Carpenter embodied Cordelia Chase, a character present from the beginnings of Buffy against the vampires, before leaving the series to join the spin-off Angel, with David Boreanaz the two shows had been created by Joss Whedon, who is not involved in this new version.

The actress also reacted to speculation around her rewatch podcast, entitled The Bitch is back, some fans seeing an index of her return. “It was not supposed to be a coded message, nor an allusion to the reboot. People said: ‘Oh, do you mean that …?’ As if it was an Easter Egg style Taylor Swift.

And to conclude: “I had no conversation with anyone to include Cordelia, at this stage.”

But it is still time. Production only started. No release date has yet been announced.
