Code Quantum is (again) over: the new series canceled
It only lasted two seasons. Oh well done!
Last jump for Ben in Quantum Code. 30 years after Sam Beckett, he too must say goodbye to Quantum Code. The science fiction series carried by Raymond Lee And Caitlin Bassett will not have season 3. The American channel NBC has just canceled the show, after two seasons.
This season 2 in 13 episodes ended with a two-hour finale on February 20 in the United States, with some notable twists. And for good reason, a season 3 was planned by the authors. The co-showrunners Martin Gero And Dean Georgaris recently said they knew what form “will take season 3, where it will take place and how it will end. We love that each season feels like a standalone novel. With a real beginning, a middle and an end, and this little epilogue which says: this is where we are going to go! We know what shape the book will take in season 3.”
Unfortunately, it will never be written. To the great dismay of Raymond Leewho regrets on Instagram: “I just wanted to thank our Quantum Code fans and those who watched. Your support has been felt and always warmly received. You have all had the trip of a lifetime. We are very proud of the show we produced and even more proud of the stories we were able to tell. And selfishly, for me, I was able to make some really awesome friends along the way. If another group gets a hold of the accelerator and its capabilities, may they find us floating through time…”
Quantum Code, It's finish. For now.
