DogMan: Luc Besson’s new film unveils its trailer
The story of a man bruised by life, who finds hope thanks to the company of his dogs…
He’s back: 4 years later Annahis international thriller with Sasha Luss, Helen Mirren and Cillian Murphy, Luc Besson change frame with DogManan ambitious new feature film shot in English.
In it he tells the story of Douglas, “a child bruised by life, who will find his salvation thanks to the love that his dogs have for him…”
In the casting, we find Caleb Landry Jones in the role of Douglas. The actor recently gained international recognition thanks to his role as a marginalized teenager (yet another) in Nitram by Justin Kurzel in 2021, inspired by the killer behind the Port Arthur massacre in Australia, which won him the Best Actor Award at Cannes.
For this new film, Luc Besson is collaborating once again with his favorite composer Éric Serra, as well as with his wife, the producer Virginie Besson-Silla. If Luc Besson had not returned behind the camera since 2019, he did however have time to write the screenplay forArthur, Cursehorrifying variation around his cult trilogy ofArthur and the Invisiblesreleased last year.
DogMan will be released in French cinemas on September 27.
