Double Trap: trailer for Harlan Coben’s new Netflix series
An adaptation of his 2016 novel Fool Me Once.
Fans of Harlan Coben will smile again. After the series was canceled Shelter on Prime Video, the writer will make his return on another streaming platform. Netflix reveals Double Traphis eighth fiction adapted from Coben’s work, and more precisely from his 2016 thriller, Fool Me Once.
The story follows “Maya Stern, who is trying to recover from the brutal murder of her husband, Joe. One day, when she had installed a camera to watch over her little daughter, she discovered to her amazement that a man she knew had broken into her home: her husband, whom she thought was dead… Sami Kierce , the police officer in charge of the investigation (himself tormented by his own demons), leads the investigation into Joe’s death. For their part, Abby and Daniel, Maya’s niece and nephew, try to discover the truth about their mother’s murder a few months earlier. Could the two cases be linked?“
