This new trailer for elusive 3 will turn your brain back

Elusive 4: a new round already in preparation!

Director Ruben Fleischer confirms that he is working on a new opus with the magicians, and hopes to bring back Mark Ruffalo.

The curtain has only just fallen on Elusive 3 that Ruben Fleischer already sees further.

The director confirms in Entertainment Weekly that the development ofElusive 4 is already officially launched. “We have a really fun adventure in mind, and we’re still writing“, he promises. In other words: the Cavaliers are not going to disappear anytime soon.

Obviously, with 80 million dollars in revenue (for a budget of around 100 million) in just a few days at the global box office, the heist film should be a success. And Lionsgate will want to come back.

For this sequel, Fleischer even aims to bring back the very popular Mark Ruffalo. Because his character, Dylan Rhodes, remains one of the keys to the saga.

Spoiler alert!

In Elusive 3the actor makes a brief appearance remotely… without ever having been present on the set. Fleischer says Ruffalo was unavailable during filming, and his participation was only possible during summer reshoots. Result: he makes an appearance in hologram, where Dylan reveals that he was never imprisoned in Russia after the failed operation ten years earlier. He had let everyone believe in his disappearance to better unite the team… and announce their next mission.

“We would have preferred to have him in the flesh in the last scene”admits Fleischer. “But he is very busy. So we shot on a green screen, independently, and we integrated his message. I accepted the hologram with great pleasure.”

But this cameo already teases Elusive 4in which the character of Dylan Rhodes is expected to play an important role. Finally, if his schedule allows it: “CIt will depend entirely on Mark Ruffalo’s agenda.” tempers the director. “Mark is in high demand… We’ll see about his availability. But my wish is really to have more Dylan in the next film.”

We already know that the Marvel actor, who was a hit in the series Task on HBO this fall, will be taken next year by the French film by Bertrand Bonello…
