Evil Dead Burn trailer horrified CinemaCon

Unveiled at the Las Vegas show, the first trailer for Evil Dead Burn, by Frenchman Sébastien Vaniček, gives a glimpse of a new, particularly brutal episode in the saga.

Unveiled during CinemaCon 2026, the first trailer forEvil Dead Burn has emerged as one of the shocks of this show dedicated to cinema operators. This trailer should not take too long to be visible on the Internet but in the meantime, Variety describes a visually very aggressive montage full of nightmarish visions.

The video opens with a mother emptying a dishwasher visibly full of sharp cutlery. She is interrupted by someone knocking on the door… When she opens it, she discovers a zombie with severed fingers and a car headrest buried in her skull (!). There deadite snatches it and drops it to the ground, before spreading terror among the family. A flashback then shows a terrible car accident and a door slamming on a little girl’s fingers, severing them. Back at the family home, the walking corpse pushes a boy onto the dishwasher, impaling him on the cutlery. She jumps onto his chest, pushing the cutlery even deeper into his flesh. Nice.

Evil Dead Burn will be the sixth in the franchise and the third feature since the 2013 reboot. A few months ago, (French) director Sébastien Vaniček told First that it is a “horror and survival film on a very short time frame, with a race against time aspect. Which does not prevent moments of relaxation: there is undoubtedly more humor than in the remake by Fede Alvarez (released in 2013), however we are getting closer on the horror side. It is perhaps the least bloody of evil Deadbut undoubtedly the most violent and brutal. Let’s say that I’m aiming more for the discomfort of the famous scene of the teeth on the sidewalk ofAmerican History than excessive hemoglobin.”

The screenplay is written by Vaniček and Florent Bernard (We, the Leroys) and in the cast, we will notably find Souheila Yacoub, Hunter Doohan and Luciane Buchanan. The exit ofEvil Dead Burn is scheduled for July 22. Count on us to talk about it again until then.
